It actually all started when I started to show signs of Vitiligo, growing up as a little girl I had no idea what this was and felt ‘not normal’.
I used make up as a mask to hide vitiligo, extensive research online showed how to hide imperfections on the skin and so I started to use whatever the internet showed me.
However I also learned the other side of Beauty Make- up and started creating soft eye looks, I had no idea what I was doing.. But it did not matter to me, I wanted to try everything I saw online. And I did.
Growing up and a growing interest in make- up opened creativeness I did not know I had, being in a family who did not pursue anything in the creative field I did not know I could turn my passion into a possible career.
By the time I was a young adult I had done several college courses for a few months but always lacked the type of passion that was needed. I came to learn that I was most happy when doing make-up and doing make-up on my friends.
That’s when I started a 2 year make-up artist course at De Nederlandse Beautyschool ( The Dutch Beautyschool) in Amsterdam to perfect my skills.
Inspired by make-up artists like; PatmcGrath, Mario Dedivanovic, I felt make- up made me tap open a creative side of me which loves every endless aspect of make- up.
Having done several positive photoshoots, it feels very satisfying and rewarding seeing people being happy with my work.
